Calverton Connection becomes ... Just "The Calverton".

As one of my most frequent routes as well as my favourite bus routes that I have ever ridden one, Calverton Connection had became just "The Calverton" back in January 2019 - that change brought the end of the Connection family of routes.

 

With buses running every 15 minutes, the black and green colours have been around for almost a decade after being red for 13 years when this route was known as Calverton Connection and then "The Calverton Connection".

 

Brought over from "Calverton Connection" during 2015-2019, the wordmark for The Calverton uses the 2012 Trent Barton livery and sports a lime green circle that uses a similar colour to the NCTX Lime Line/Arnold routes numbered 56, 57, 58 and 59.

 

The Calverton has been around for almost 23 years, having been introduced in 1996 with different bus types being used over the past 2 decades ...

August 2003-August 2009; August 2015-January 2019 • Wright Solars;

August 2009-February 2017 • Mercedes Citaros;

January 2019-present • Wright Eclipses.
