Short-eared Owls

For my previous visit to the Humber banks the Owls didn't make an appearance until the light was going, so this time I was pleased to see them perched up and hunting as soon as I arrived just after lunch. At least 4 birds, with noticeably different colouring, were quite active until dusk.
