This is a remarkable region, designated as a United Nations Heritage Site, more than 90 shipwrecks (hence the title Mistaken Point), historical events such as its proximity to the sinking of the Titanic (nearest shore) and seabirds, fisheries (Great Banks), make this entire region worth the effort to visit.
