Hubble - ESAHubble - NGC 3430 - potw2430a - Magnification and reconstruction via AI.

ESA Hubble presented the image potw2430a, on July 22, 2024 at 6:00 UTC. This image is once again brought to us by Hubble. It is of the galaxy NGC 3430, a wonderful spiral galaxy that lies 100 million light years from Earth in the constellation Leo Minor. Several other galaxies lie relatively close to this one. One of them is close enough to suggest that gravitational interaction is causing some star formation in NGC 3430.

This image was reconstructed using our artificial intelligence model. The file is available at 178.87 millions of pixels for download at a resolution of 15000x11925 pixels.
