NASA - Magellan - Venus - Quetzalpetlatl Corona - Magnification and colouring via AI.

This is our version, via AI (for magnification and colouring), of a composite image generated by approximately 70 orbits of data from NASA's Magellan probe on Venus; it shows a geologically complex region in the southern hemisphere of Venus. You can see on the right, the Quetzalpetlatl Corona, which dimensionally is about 700 km in diameter. Coronae are circular or oval regions defined by a ring of ridges and are centres of tectonic and volcanic activity.
