Reconstruction, using our artificial intelligence model. This you see is the image provided by ASI, the Italian space agency, of the LEIA (LICIACube Explorer Imaging for Asteroids) camera. The resolution of the photo is very low, but it captures the Earth, at a distance of 14 million kilometres, as seen from the LiciaCube nanosatellite, built by argotec. This nanosatellite detached itself from NASA's DART mother probe to film the crash that will take place on the asteroid Dimorphos on the night of 26-27 September 2022.
