Information provided by the Museum states that this is a sculpture made from Granite. The sculptures size is an overall size of 69 1/4 x 24 1/4 inches. The sculpture was provided to the Museum by the John L. Severance Fund.

 

Information that museum contains states that the sculpture is of One of Vishnu's two wives, Bhu, the earth goddess who holds the lotus in her right hand.

 

The Sculpture is from the Indian Art collection within the Indian and Southeast Asian Art exhibits from the Cleveland Museum of art. It is Public Domain.
