La Fabbrica Caproni a Predappio ha una storia ricca e complessa. Inaugurata nel 1935, lo stabilimento fu progettato per produrre aerei, ma venne ampliato nel 1940 per fronteggiare l'aumento della produzione in seguito all'ingresso dell'Italia nella Seconda Guerra Mondiale. Gli aerei venivano costruiti in loco, smontati e poi trasportati all'aeroporto di Forlì per l'assemblaggio finale. La fabbrica raggiunse il suo apice di produzione nel 1942, con circa 1400 dipendenti. Sala Progettazione. E' da anni in penoso abbandono.

Opened in 1935, the plant was designed to produce aircraft, but was expanded in 1940 to accommodate the increase in production following Italy's entry into World War II. Aircraft were built on site, disassembled, and then transported to Forlì Airport for final assembly. The factory reached its peak production in 1942, with approximately 1,400 employees.
This is the Design Room. The factory has been in a sorry state of neglect since the end of the war.
