Myrtle Burl Clock
Several weeks ago, c. jacob woods (@c.jacob.woods on Instagram) had several small Myrtle burl caps for sale. I took advantage of this and received 15 pieces of burl. Several of these pieces are an ideal size for small wall clocks. This is the first clock from one of those burls. The front was sanded to 1000 grit and the natural edge was sanded with Sand-o-Flex at 180 grit. The finish is Willie’s Wood Finish (willieswoodfinishes.com/products/willies-wood-honey).
The clock is roughly 11” tall by 8 1/4” wide by 1” thick.
