All Pin Cherry Box
Exploring various joinery approaches. This is a piece of MDF core cherry plywood with the laser kerf taken into account in the pin socket design. This is an all-pin box with the front and back inset. The insets make this an all pin box with no open box joints. The result is a very tight box that holds together without glue.
The box is approximately 3.5 inches by 2 inches by 1 1/2 inches tall. Overall desire is to explore the various design options while minimizing the amount of wood consumed.
The Beall Tool logo was included because I am using this exploration to finalize a design for a holder for my Beall collet chuck system to be held on the turning shop French Cleat wall and I thought this would be a cool inclusion with the holder. It will match the logo on the collet set shipping box.
