Frieze with Dancer and Musicians

This artifact is made of sandstone and is 33.4 x 95.3 x 11.3 cm (13 1/8 x 37 1/2 x 4 7/16 in.) created around c. 973. It depicts a group of people playing music and their different poses help reflect on how beautiful their music is playing. A dancer is in the center with an orchestra is behind her and further depicts how music and dancing was both important and present during their activities during the people's dedication at the temple.
