Table Fountain - 1924.859

Made in France, in the 14th century, this beautiful fountain is on location at 109 Gothic Painting and Sculpture at the Cleveland Museum of Art.

 

It was made in gilt-silver and translucent enamels. This is very unique and definitely represents Gothic culture. There are plaques that play music and release water to help the sounds of the music.

 

This fountain as a richness to it and is a very rare piece. According to the Museum, the artist is unknown.
