GB Railfreight's BR 'Research' liveried 69004 (formerly 56069) eases into Southampton Central on 16th July 2022 with the empty stock for the return leg of the UK Railtours 'Solent Searcher' charter, 5Z32 from Eastleigh T&RSMD. 66799 is out of view on the rear.
In the background is 'Kimber's Tower', which stands at 157ft (48m) in height, and forms part of the west wing of Southampton's Civic Centre. The tower, with its impressive clock face, was completed in 1933.
