This beautiful golden plaque was created during the 7th-8th century in Thailand and is a depiction of the Hindu god Vishnu. It has an uneven base with thinner sides to the left and upper left corner, and thicker towards the right and bottom right corner. It folds and crinkles towards the top a little bit, but the rest is smooth and allows for the form of Vishnu to be the center of attention. He is shown with his multiple arms holding different objects as well as leaning on a club. His ears are elongated like Buddha and his head is adorned with an ornate headdress. The objects he is holding are four of his symbols: awheel, a conch shell, a club, and a mass of earth and soil.
