Crested Serpent Eagle

ecember 2024: I have seen a Crested Serpent Eagle eat an eel and a frog. However yesterday it finally lived up to its name as I photographed it eating a snake / serpent.

It didn’t waste any time after biting the head off and downed the snake in less than a minute 😋 Does anyone know which snake it was? - Kosi River, Uttarakhand, India 🇮🇳
