White-Robed Guanyin is a hanging scroll of ink depicting a classic scene of the Guanyin (the bodhisattva associated with compassion). The painting was done by Jueji Yongzhong and the inscription was by Zhongfeng Mingben around 1300, during the Chinese Yuan dynasty. The scroll with knobs is 164x38cm. It is not currently on view and was a purchase from the J.H. Wade Fund to the CMA. This image is in the public domain.
