Dazzled

Crimson Columbine (aquilegia formosa), Mount Rainier National Park, Washington

 

These flowers are bright in any weather, but in the full midday mountain sunshine they almost required sunglasses to view! I love the shape and structure of Columbine flowers and am always excited when I find a patch of them out on the trails.
