The River Knows

Hoh River, Olympic National Park, Washington

In honor of the birthday of Olympic National Park (it officially became a national park on June 29th, 1938) I thought I would post a photo of the beautiful Hoh River that is one of the central features of the park. It originates from the Hoh Glacier on Mount Olympus, winds it way through the park and terminates in the Pacific Ocean along the edge of the coastal boundary of the park.

This section is located in the Hoh Rainforest along the Hoh River Trail.
