Mount Saint Helens, Washington (In Explore 4/22/21)

Famed for the massive 1980 eruption which created the concave top of the mountain, and caused 57 deaths and a huge amount of destruction. Decades later the landscape has regenerated itself, with green vegetation and wildflowers now visible in what was once covered in mud and ash.
