Washington - 37114 runs round on 22 March 1980
Having arrived from the Leamside line past Penshaw North, 37114 is running round the train, using the loop line which used to go via Washington Chemical Works. The loco has passed under the Washington Station footbridge and will then take the train on the South Pelaw line past Biddick Lane and onto Consett. Six months later on that route will have closed.
