Trent Lane Junction Signal Box Track Diagram

Dates as known are:
1888 - Box opened to control entrance to new LNWR Manvers Street Goods Yard - Frame RSCo 75 lever 4" Tappet which lasted until the end. Replaced a nearby box named "Nottingham Goods Junction" - now 4 tracks into London Road Station (later Low Level).

9 February 1930 - Nottingham Suburban Line singled.

23 November 1966 - Manvers Street closed (some say 6 June 1966?).
4 January 1970 - Box closed along with line from Netherfield Junction, GN/GC lines to East Leake singled all trains pass through Low Level station, section of Down line retained as headshunt/reversing line.
8 April 1974 - All track at the box closed due to new GC access chord at Loughborough opening.
