View looking towards Pleasley, with the Sutton Colliery branch on the right. The container was used, after the line was singled in 1970 and it housed an intermediate key token machine and the Sutton Colliery OTW staff.
Prior to that a brake van had been used as a replacement for the Signal Box which was destroyed by fire in 1969.
