This is the Board of Trade inspection sketch for the original 28 lever frame in 1903.
Interestingly this shows a main signal (22) reading from the Dock to Up Main, also trap points in both sidings that lead to the Dock... so maybe the reason for this inspection was for an upgrade of the Dock to a Bay Platform? – Though, of course, with this layout anything other than goods leaving the Dock would still have to be signalled via Up Main, even if heading for the Branch!
