Dates etc:
22 June 1902 - Box opened named "Stoneyford North" - because there was already a Stoneyford Sidings box to the south.
28 September 1902 - Box renamed Stoneyford Junction.
21 November 1921 - Stoneyford Sidings box closed.
17 April 1966 - 2nd Down Goods removed (just before my visit).
4 June 1967 - Facing connection 18/19 out.
16 February 1969 - Box closed (along with remaining connection 11).
12 October 1969 - Line resignalled under Trent resignalling stage 2A, points 11 reinstated worked by ground frame released Trent signal box.
5 August 2007 - Line resignalled again controlled by Erewash workstation in Trent signal box, former points "11" now motored and fully signalled.
29 August 2008 - Points are still there but control transferred to EMCC Erewash workstation.
