This 2004 SBD photo shows the difference in symbols for slots because 5 and 8 were auto signals so far as Trent was concerned and would show a proceed aspect if Sneinton levers were reversed. 4 & 7, however, were slots on Trent controlled signals which meant they may not always change to proceed when the Sneinton lever was reversed.
