SIGNAL BOX TRACK DIAGRAMS - Vol 2

PHOTO - On 2nd July 1965 "Austerity" 2-8-0 no. 90466 has passed Kirkby South Junction, heading towards Annesley tunnel with an up coal train. I took this photo from Lindley's Lane bridge. The ex-MR line from Nottingham took the horizontal route, in front of the houses in the top left. In fact you can see the wooden posted fixed distant signal for Kirkby Station Junction - to the right of the pylon just above the middle of the 3 down home signals. The Robin Hood Line now crosses Lindley's Lane via an overbridge and then takes the ex-MR formation through the shorter Kirkby tunnel, heading for Nottingham.

To manage the number of photos in my albums, and to ensure that the Index links don't get too unwieldly, I have set up this second Album. This will contain, in alphabetical order, the boxes from Kirkby Station Junction to Shirebrook Sidings.

This second alphabetic index can be found at www.flickr.com/photos/192151030@N08/51951317297/in/album-...

This index includes links which enable you to easily select any of my box diagrams. It will also provide a link to the first Index page I created.
