Leaving Banbury at 10.7pm we pass Heyford at 10.24pm. Arriving Oxford at 10.42pm, departing 10.52pm.
You can see our old friend 3V05 (3.30pm Hull to Plymouth fish) appearing again but note there is no time entry for Banbury. Instead of taking the Banbury route at Culworth Junction that train continued on the GC to Calvert where the train was propelled to Claydon L.N.E Junction. The engine was replaced by a GW Hall which had been waiting. The original engine then returned LE to Calvert before heading for Woodford. So 3V05 arrived Oxford at 10.16pm having travelled via Bicester. My theory is the train was timetabled that way because the route was identified as a diversionary one and the train crew needed to retain their route knowledge, unless you have contrary evidence?
Unsurprisingly, I've not seen any photos of 3V11 around Banbury and beyond. Even in the heights of Summer it would be dark.

Alternatively, you can leave the story board album and see why things wouldn't always run smoothly, perhaps 70036 'Boadicea' encountered some problem with its front bogie which meant it needed attention at Banbury?
UPDATE 19 May 2023;- Information from Phil Parish via his reply to my 17 May 2023 post on Facebook Group "British Railways Steam era 1948 to 1968" was that 70036 derailed after coming off the train at Banbury and was on Banbury shed for weeks under repair.
