Page 13 - BR ER Freight Lincoln 17 June to 8 Sep 1963_p D42 and D28

For the last part in this storyboard we now embark on a journey with 3V11, travelling through the various pages of Working Time Tables (WTTs) which follow the route as the train makes its way towards South Wales.

Copyright for WTTs formerly lay with BRB (Residuary) Limited which was abolished in 2013. Many WTTs are now Public Records at The National Archives, Kew.

I have tried to use WTTs which correspond, date-wise, to when the Brits would be in charge. That has not always been possible but I'm confident that the overall picture accurately depicts what was happening.

It's interesting to note the subtle differences between the BR Regions - generally BR(ER) included Class 3 fish trains in the Freight WTTs whereas BR(LMR) included them in the Passenger WTTs.

This story begins on page D42 when 0V11 departs LE from Immingham Loco at 3.00pm. It arrives Grimsby Marsh Junction at 3.22pm then on page D28 it completes the journey to Grimsby Docks, arriving at 3.32pm.
