Annesley No 4_p27 Up and Down

'Royal Scot' no. 46128 "The Lovat Scouts" appears in the Train Register on 2 days, Saturday 18th August 1962 and Monday 20th August 1962. 46128 is recorded on this page 27 Down as 6128. There is a photo of 46128 on the prorail web site:

70048 is shown near the bottom of page 27 down , leaving the shed at 8.4pm then going via 1 arrival to No. 3 box. The remarks show she was heading for W(adsley) Bridge. Looking at the Working Timetable for that period there was a train, 5E77, which started from Annesley with Wadsley Bridge as the destination. It left Annesley at 8.20pm, passing Killamarsh Junction at 9.6pm.

70048 returned to Annesley shed in the early hours of the following day, Sunday 19th August 1962 ( 3.8 am on page 28 up)

Out of interest 70048 also worked 5E77 on Thursday 16th August, returning to shed the following morning at 1.16am.
