According to the museum, the woman in the picture is depicted to look just as evil like the demon, div. Perhaps this is to show that men are viewed as civil beings while women are still “wild”. This piece belongs to the Cleveland Museum of Art, but unfortunately, is not on display. The credit line is the Purchase from the J. H. Wade Fund and the accession number is 1982.63.
