The Enthroned Virgin with the Writing Christ Child is on view at The Cleveland Museum of Art. This piece is specifically located in 109 Gothic Painting and Sculpture. The statue was crafted during the 15th century. Sculptures like these were super common in Netherlandish art around the 1400s. It is also believed that it resembles the theme of the mother nurturing and teaching the child. The sculpture is made of Limestone with polychromies and gilding.
