The Grave Stele (Relief) is on view at The Cleveland Museum of Art in 102C Greek. The sculpture was created during c. 50 BC. The sculpture depicts a deceased women probably of high status due to the fact she is larger which could emphasize her importance. The details of the sculpture hint to the beliefs of mortality and the after life. There are also the three fates depicted at the top of the artwork. The sculpture is made of marble and the dimensions are 73.6 x 42.5 cm (29 x 16 3/4 in.). The sculpture is a gift of James E. and Elizabeth J. Ferrell. This image is in the public domain. 2005.52
