Horse Bit Cheekpiece 1961.33_web

“Horse Bit Cheekpiece” from Luristan, Iran, was made around 700 BC and it shows three figures in this one piece. It appears symmetrical with a focus on the center figure which is in the middle of two animal-like figures. It is made out of bronze and the dimensions are 14.9 x 21.3 cm. It was a purchase from the J. H. Wade Fund 1961.33. This image is in the public domain.
