“Aphrodite” is on view at the Cleveland Museum of Art and can be viewed in Gallery 102C Greek. This beautifully crafted statue was made of terracotta and comes from Greece in the 4th-3rd Century BC. According to the museum’s website this piece is most likely a spin off of “Aphrodite of Knidos” by Praxiteles. This piece is a gift of the John Huntington Art and Polytechnic Trust and the accession number is 1927.489. The statue is 43.5 cm tall and the image of this piece is in the public domain.
