cyanotype fence
a cyanotype of a fence in Greece, edited digitally. This is different to the original method of cyanotyping which involved submerging a receptive surface, usually watercolour or cloth, in an iron solution which is then exposed to ultraviolet light to create the blue colour. I do not particularly enjoy how this technique looks, however I feel this image is effective due to the simplicity of the shapes and colours in the original image. If the original image had been more complex I feel it may not have looked as appealing.
