“Pendant with the Virgin and Child” was created by Godefroid de Huy in the Romanesque period 12th century, around 1160-1170 AD. This pendant is made of Gilded copper and champlevé enamel and the reverse side of the pendant is decorated in vernis brun, while the overall size of the pendant is 19.8 x 17 x 3.2 cm (7 13/16 x 6 11/16 x 1 1/4 in.). “Pendant with the Virgin and Child” was purchased by the Cleveland Museum of Art from the J.
