“Eros, the God of Love” 1920.167_print

“Eros, the God of Love” is a head off a statue. This youthful face of Eros was from Roman Italy, estimated about 1st century (1-100 A.D.). This head is made of marble and overall in size is 22.6 x 15.3 x 17.8 cm (8 7/8 x 6 x 7 in.). This piece was gifted to the Cleveland Museum of Art by Mrs. John Huntington in 1920 and can be found in the museum at 103 Roman.
