Lagh da Palü

The Lagh da Palü is a reservoir in the canton of Graubünden. It is located south of the Bernina Pass at the foot of Piz Palüs at an altitude of 1923 metres above sea level. It is fed by glacial water from the Palü glacier, which explains its clear, shimmering blue colour. The Cavagliasch flows down the valley from the lake.
