Roll on, Rock Island, Roll on….

Iowa Northern F40 no. 678 rolls on through Mount Auburn, Iowa on wintery, rare daylight run. Like the Rock Island for some folks, number 678 is now a distant memory, as the prime mover was used in one of the 4000 series GP40s and was cut up and scrapped in Waterloo.
