Standing Buddha - 1966.30_full

The Standing Buddha originates from the Himalayan region around the year 900ACE. It is a metal cast figure

made with Brass, Silver, and Copper. The figure stands nearly 100 centemeters tall with a width about a third of its

height. The elegant figure depicts a very detailed assortment of designs surrounding Buddah and what appears to be

a portion of an arch behind him which is missing the left and upper most sections. The figure has his eyes closed

and palm raised outward in a peaceful stance.
