The Relief of Apollo with Nike was created between the years 27 BC- 14 and is made from sculpted Greek marble. It was crafted during the Augustan period by the Romans in Italy and is typical of Neo-Attic work, with mannered gestures and elongated figures that were common with this style. This relief is 16 ⅜ x 18 ¼ inches and was a purchase from the J.H. Wade Fund in 1930. This work can be found in gallery 103 Roman. This image is part of the public domain and can be found on the CMA website.
