Lioness 1989.253_o10

Lioness, a copper alloy, lost-wax cast, was created in the year 2100 B.C. It was made by Sumerian, Iraq and depicts a lioness that appears to be crouched in a hunters stance. The dimensions of this piece are 1 5/8 x 1 1/4 x 5 1/4 inches. Bequest of Mrs. Severance A. Millikin 1989 and located in Gallery 102A Ancient Near East.
