The Emperor as Philosopher, probably Marcus Aurelius (reigned AD 161-180)

This hollow bronze piece was created in the late 2nd century.

It can be found at the cleveland art museum in section 103 Roman.

The headless figure holds various lines and depths on it's clothing, followed with bodily features on the hands.

 

Turkey, Bubon(?) (in Lycia), Roman, late 2nd Century

Bronze, hollow cast in several pieces and joined
