Created the 19th Century in Korea by artist 호렵도 (胡獵圖), "Hunting Scene" is an eight-fold screen utilizing ink and color on silk. The depictions on the screen showcase continuous hills cascading across the varied divisions in the work with horsemen and various onlookers positioned within the wavelike slopes of the hilly scene. The silk screen in it's entirety is 84 1/2 x 136 in and was gifted to the Cleveland Museum of Art by Leighton R. and Rosemarie Longhi in 1993 and is currently not on display.
