Trident with Shiva as Half-Woman is a bronze casted trident head that depicts the Hindu god Shiva. In this depiction Shiva is enclosed by the curved blade and represented by one half of their body displaying "masculine" attributes (left) with the other side displaying "feminine" attributes (right). The trident head is estimated to be made in 900-13th century from southern India and is 39.6 cm by 15 9/16 in. The Trident head was Purchase from the J. H. Wade Fund in 1969 and can be viewed on the Cleveland Museum of Arts website in addition to its 244 Indian and south Asian exhibit.
