Uma-Maheshvara is a gilded bronze statue of the Hindu god Shiva and his consort, Uma according to the museum. It was sculpted in 14th century Nepal and has a height of 29.8 cm (11 ¾ in.), a width of 27.2 cm (10 11/16 in.) and a base of 32.6 cm (12 13/16 in.). Despite its small stature, there is a wealth of details cast in the gilded patterns and jewelry. This statue was donated by the Leonard C.
