Celt-Shaped Pendant 1972.4_print

Celt-Shaped Pendant is a luminous jadeite carving discovered in the Southern Nicoya region in Costa Rica. It was created between 300 BC and 600 AD and has a small stature of 15.2 cm (6 in.) and 5.4 cm (2 1/8 in.) wide. This artifact was donated to the Cleveland Museum of Art by the James Albert and Mary Gardiner Ford Memorial Fund, and can be encountered at Gallery 233, the Mesoamerican and Intermediate Region.
