A gear portrait

First studio shoot this morning with my new Godox lights —and of one of them. All went well!

Strobist and technical:

One Godox AD600 Pro II monolight on a light stand to camera right in lateral position, 1.5 meters from subject and 0.5 meter above it, firing at 1/32 +0.3 power through a double-diffused Phottix Pro 80–cm Raja Deep softbox; another AD600 Po II on a light stand to camera left in ¾ backlit position, 1 meter from subject and 0.5 meter above it, firing at 1/32 +0.6 power through a Phottix Pro 110–cm Luna octabox with double diffuser. The Godox AD100 Pro fired at 1/128. Black paper backdrop and background.

Strobes set and triggered via Godox X Pro II radio controller on the camera’s hot shoe, manual mode for all lights. Sekonic L–858D light meter, equipped with RT–GX radio module, used to balance light sources. Gitzo GT3543 XLS tripod with Arca–Swiss Cube C1 geared head. Nikon Z7 II camera body, Nikkor Z 135mm, ƒ/1.8 S Plena lens. Composite shot made up of 10 focus-stacked exposures, set automatically using the built-in function on the camera. Stack processed with Helicon Focus software, Method B.
