Fig leaf
We have a dwarf (supposedly, but no one told it, and if I would let it, it would grow to the first floor!) fig tree near one of the corners of the house, and each year it gives us more figs than we can eat. This is what they look like when the fruit emerges from the pod and is beginning to take a recognizable shape.
Handheld macro shot, lovely bokeh by the Micro–Nikkor 105mm f/2.8 lens. Can’t wait for the native Z–mount 105 to arrive, as I have pre–ordered it (June 2021).
