Hoch über dem Kanal
Bei Hochdonn befahren die Züge auf der Marschbahn die beeindruckende Hochbrücke über den Nord-Ostsee-Kanal in luftiger Höhe. Noch weiter in die Höhe wurde die Kamera per Hochstativ geschickt, da aus Bodenhöhe das Brückengeländer den Zug verdeckt hätte. Die Aufnahme zeigt 218 390 und 218 833 mit dem IC 2311 von Westerland (Sylt) nach Stuttgart Hbf, welcher inzwischen überwiegend mit der Baureihe 245 gefahren wird. Das Betreten des Fotostandpunkts erfolgte in Begleitung und unter Aufsicht eines freundlichen DB-Mitarbeiters.

At Hochdonn, the trains travel on the Marschbahn-line over the impressive high bridge over the Kiel Canal at dizzy heights. The camera was sent even further up using a high tripod, since the bridge railing would have covered the train from ground level. The photo shows 218 390 and 218 833 with the IC 2311 from Westerland (Sylt) to Stuttgart Central Station, which is now mainly driven with the class 245. Entering the photo location was accompanied and supervised by a friendly DB employee.
